Proxy Initialization

— opening a proxy connection to a channel

In order to publish content for a channel, the publisher needs to open a proxy session.

The proxy maintains an open connection to the channel, providing access to the channel's subjects and validation against the channel's notification type.

To initialize a proxy session for a client accessing our channel, we implement the following constructor:

Proxy (channel id, client id)

For proxy p, our channel id is 7 and our client id is 3001:

Proxy p(7,3001);

Note: client id represents the id of the customer entered by your administrator into the User Management interface of the Management Console.
