| Find-Me gives subscribers a single phone number that automatically forwards calls to a prearranged series of numbers until the subscriber answers. |
| Subscribers are issued either their own Direct Inward Dialing (DID) Phone Number or a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for use on a Shared facility. |
Calling Sequence |
| When a call is placed to the DID or the PIN is entered into the Shared facility, the system will look for the subscriber by dialing through a preset sequence of numbers until the subscriber answers and enters their Acceptance Code. For example, the system may try the following sequence of numbers: |
- Home Phone
- Office Phone
- Cell Phone
|
| Subscribers uses an Interactive Voice Response (IVR) application to control the sequence of numbers that the application calls. Subscribers can also set multiple sequences based on day-of-week or hour-of-day. |
Variable Sequencing |
| For example, a subscriber can tell the system to call one sequence of numbers from 8 AM to Noon on Mondays: |
- Office Phone
- Cell Phone
- Home Phone
|
| Then another sequence from noon to 1 PM on Mondays: |
- Cell Phone
- Home Phone
- Office Phone
